What We Know So Far?
Netflix, has always been a leader in the video streaming segment. It is now “in the works” to develop and deliver an AAA game. If the job listings are to be believed, this will be the first of its “own” games! Netflix’s PC game could be an AAA PC game and will be a very high-budget deal. There are no other news around the same though! It is anticipated that this game will develop some potential script or even a universe for a brand new series. Meanwhile, do note that Netflix has currently got 2.4 million subscribers in September quarter on its tally.
Summing Up
Its revenue has shot up by 19% from the $834 million to latest figure of $889 million. Reed Hastings, the co-CEO says, “We’re done with shrinking quarters…we’re back to positivity. Everything the company is focussing on, whether on content, marketing, lowering prices for the ad supported model, paid sharing lines us up for a good next year.”
